Dark Angel Returns to Toronto – Extinction Level Event Tour 2025

For the first time in over 30 years, Dark Angel, the thrash metal legends are storming back across North America. The band's 'Extinction Level Event Tour' marks a long awaited comeback, celebrating their first new album since 1991, Extinction Level Event, which was released by Reversed Records on September 5th.
Formed in 1981 alongside Big 4 bands Metallica and Slayer, Dark Angel’s has carved their name in the annals of Thrash Metal. With classics like "Darkness Descends" and "Time Does Not Heal", and new tracks “Circular Firing Squad” and the album's title track, Dark Angel is ferocious in their sound. As iconic drummer Gene Hoglan quips, “Everyone who’s heard the new album is losing their minds.”
Joining Gene Hoglan are guitarist Eric Meyer, bassist Mike Gonzalez, vocalist Ron Rinehart, and shredder Laura Christine. This lineup is locked, loaded, and lethal.
With Arizona thrashers Sacred Reich, California's Hirax, and Maryland punks Void, you can be guaranteed a night of blistering speed, and unrelenting intensity. This event is sure to go down as one of the heaviest, fastest shows, full of mayhem and destruction that this city will see in 2025.
