Arch Enemy Releases New Music Video, and Heads out on the Road

By Jay Broderick

In 2022, Swedish Melodic Death Metal band Arch Enemy released their 12th studio recording Deceivers, to rave reviews. Originally a supergroup, formed from members of multiple bands like Armageddon, Carcass and Mercyful Fate, Arch Enemy is now a metal powerhouse led by vocalist Alissa White-Gluz (Canada's own).

The band has released their incredible 7th music video from the most recent album. The track is called "Poisoned Arrow", and the video was shot in Germany in the sweltering summer heat. That's a significant tidbit for when you watch the video. Crazy, and super cool!!

In support of the new album, the band will hit the road on February 12, 2023 in Auckland New Zealand. The tour will take the band through 20 countries, although to date, no North American shows have been scheduled. I don't expect that to remain the case through the year as guitarist Michael Amott notes "Who knows where we'll go after that".

Alissa White-Gluz - Vocals

Michael Amott - Guitar

Jeff Loomis - Guitar

Sharlee D'Angelo - Bass

Daniel Erlandsson - Drums
