St. Catherine's, ON - As part of their 2025 tour, British band BUSH stopped at St. Catherines' Meridian Centre on Sunday 'May the 4th', with US bands Filter and Rival Sons as support acts.

Shooting from a limited space pit, the night kicked off with a strobe filled, yet quite dark performance from Filter, a US band from Cleveland that has been on the scene since 1993. The band is fronted by lead singer Richard Patrick, a cool looking dude who effortlessly shifted through the strobe lights, fellow band members, and a heavy haze to deliver a kick ass performance to open the night. The room was probably already 75% full at this point, and you could tell the crowd was building, ahead of BUSH at 9pm

When we came back into the room during the break, I noticed the place was now absolutely full and a massive swell of anticipation was building. As we got to the pit, the lights went out and we were hit with more bright white strobes as drummer Nik Hughes opened with some seriously intense drum hits for opening track “Everything Zen”. Chris Traynor on Lead guitar and Corey Britz on bass filled out the stage, as main man Gavin Rossdale jumped onto stage and kicked the night off.

Man this band sounds absolutely superb! It's so big, it's hard to believe it's just 4 men on stage with instruments. It was amazing to see and photograph this British band for the first time. The crowd absolutely loved this band, and a few times Gavin Rossdale came down into the audience and lifted lucky fans in the air, and held hands with others all while continuing to sing. What an intense performance from an amazing band.
